The panel will consist of editors pulled from the gmv community. This year judges may not enter any categories as contestants. This is meant to help deal with issues with transparency and judging in past years.Judges are responsible for judging every video assigned fairly and without bias. Our mark schemes have been vastly overhauled to create an easier, more fluid judging to prevent judging burnout. DO: Focus on something/someone in the same game or universe and their story.DON'T: Choose a crossover couple or write your own story.The main idea is to explore pre-existing stories and characters.- Example A: A Character Focus on Connor from AC3, his personality and his life, this would be canon since you can't detract from the written/intentional universe.- Example B: Kairi x Sora from KH Series could be interpreted as Canon, they interact and exist inside the same universe, however Sora x Riku could also be Canon to someone else. Its a personal interpretation of the EXISTING storylines. - Example C: TidusxYuna because they are put together by the writers of the game.- You must justify why your video is considered canon in terms of the game you have chosen, the character or couple you have focussed on, and also from your viewpoint in the description since some are debatable and it is required for marking.- Videos must be new. - Videos between 0:30 and 2:30- Any effects and techniques are acceptable- Deadline: July 4thExtension till July 10th latestExamples of Canon Videos in news feed.I still need judges!
