I tried to stay true to the rawness of the original edit, while making slight adjustments to try and enhance the edit ever so slightly. I'm hoping this will be the first of a series of remakes, time permitting. I edited this song multiple times with Yuri anime in the past, and Kannazuki no Miko had me in a chokehold in 2007. This is also my first video using only rotoscope instead of masking. It's far from perfect and not as clean as it could be in comparison to frame by frame masking, but it is what it is and it is the fastest I have ever completed a full video. The perfectionist in me is screaming, but my hands and wrists are grateful.I really love Aerith's character, and I love Briana White's version of her. I also knew as soon as I saw the Gold Saucer performance I had to make a lip sync video. I'm still living in Y2K when it comes to editing. One of my earliest uploads was a GMV of Yuna from X-2 singing. Nostalgia really hits hard. We would have many arguments and although I loved her, I had turned my back in order to save my own self. After months and months of trying to get her help, it finally arrived and she was taken into hospital. After a few months she slowly was getting better and better, each time I saw her.Slowly, the bonds of Mother and Child began to grow, and she was given her own house. But they changed her medication, and she took a turn for the worse. The side effects were bitterly cruel, I had complained, I was worried. Her care workers would sort it out. So I went on a little holiday to visit my boyfriend, to escape it all. When I got back, I was informed my mum was missing. I searched for her, but nobody had seen her. I called her care workers. A few, perhaps many hours later, I received a call. My mother was found dead in her house. She had gone. She was all alone. The pain it has given me, will linger for the rest of my life. I have many regrets, much stress. But for one thing, I am glad. My last words to her when she was living, "I love you, mum."The cause of death is still not known after a week. There is going to be an inquest, which could take 10 weeks. Please. Let her have passed on in her sleep.And that is why I present you with this. But Alas, his dreams were to be shattered as her figure dissapeared into dust and his geostigma flared up. Aeris had died 2 years beforehand in attempt to summon Holy. But during his geostigma fit, Cloud felt a warm peace, calm and hope. Aeris was there whilst he was unconscious, taking care of him. Shortly after, Tifa enters the church. She knew cloud visited there everyday. However in the distance she sees Aeris disappear. Just a hallucination. Suddenly she heard the creek of a door, and as she spun around all consciousness left her. She fainted into the flowers. Zack was once Tifa's friend and Cloud's comrade all those 7 years ago. Like Cloud, Aeris and Zack had once met in the church and developed attachments for each other. But both Aeris and Cloud's heart was shattered the day he died in battle. Cloud awoke after having seen this in his dreams, only to find himself next to Tifa in their room in Edge. He couldn't help but remember that time 7 years ago when Sephiroth brutally murdered those in his and Tifa's hometown of Nibelheim. Cloud had been riddled with guilt for years about the death of both Zack and Aeris and the pain he had caused Tifa for various reasons during the years. As Tifa announced that she forgave him, Cloud was taken a back to a peaceful place, where Aeris reassured him, as she revealed herself to Cloud. As he turned around, his comrade Zack was there to reassure Cloud that he had Hope. He had them even if they had passed on to the lifestream.
