#straftat #arenafps #gamingChannel UpdateSackooba2026-07-10 | This is just an update video that confirms what I've already discussed in my recent community post and that I'm still moving forward with my decision. I'm not leaving, but I'm moving on from the kind of content I've done before. Don't worry though, there will always be gaming. Stay tuned :)Galactic Vault is a fantastic Roguelite FPSSackooba2026-06-24 | Had a key sent to me by MeepMeep Games, the people behind Galactic Vault, a Roguelite FPS that's becoming a favourite of mine so far. The gunplay and movement just feel really good, which is important for a roguelite fps game, and there's a good amount of replayability too thanks to additional difficulties, different bosses and weapons to grind for. I went in curious and came out surprised by how fun the game was. Really looking forward to seeing what these guys do next.
#galacticvault #roguelite #fps #indiefpsReject Gears of War Reloaded, Embrace Gears of War ReduxSackooba2026-06-17 | So you like Gears? Well then, here's Gears of War Redux. It's a overhaul that adds new content from 2 and 3, and adds horde mode which was never in the original or in Ultimate/Reloaded. And the best part is, it's completely free to play right now. Go check it out, it's amazing. Not an in-depth vid here, just spreading the gospel.
Notes:
- The footage is stretched at times because I had to play on a lower resolution so that the fps drops wouldn't tank as much. So apologies for not being able to deliver the crispiest footage.
- I've had performance issues that prevented me from playing at my native resolution. I know that others haven't had the same experience as I have, but hopefully it gets some performance fixes overtime.
- Most footage is from the horde mode since that's what I was the most excited for. Haven't tried much of Versus yet.

What's also growing is the sub/view count in your killer stream in LUCKROT, where movement shooter meets The Running Man in a display of carnage and traps for your unwashed audience to revel in. I had a fun time with this game, but I wish there was more incentive to do more runs. Still give it a crack though, it's cheap.
Notes: - In the trailer I saw that you could dual wield weapons. May have been an ability that could be picked up at the start of the run.
- Performance issues occurred in the bigger arenas, should be looked at before the endless mode is added.
- For the bosses I may have confused views/sub counts. You need a certain amount of views before fighting said boss.

Sniper Arena, a sniper based game with dueling and casual multiplayer modes mixed in. There's not much else to say other than it's a fun but sometimes sweaty game. Give it a try.
The games shown in the intro were Payday 3, Cruel and Gunfire Reborn.

I'll be playing around with video filters since I finally got my hands on a webcam, and may start streaming once I get better internet. Anyways, here's Battle Teams 2, a cod clone that is a successor from the original game that was more so inspired by cs. It's pretty fun but doesn't have many players so getting into other game modes will be difficult. But you may have luck in the pve mode, tdm and demolition. Some people are still on there, just gotta catch it during peak hours.

It's pretty much the same thing but with WW2 aesthetics. It's free, install is small, but needs more added to it since it feels like a standalone expansion rather than it's own game. Check it out regardless, you might still like it.

As I said in my recent community post, I've decided to come back and return to making videos again. After 6 months of long burnout from this channel, I realized that I missed it and I wanted to get back in the game. Anyways, I'm a bit rusty with videomaking, which can be fixed once my rhythm is back on beat again. I may revisit this topic in the future, and if I have any other ideas or things to share, I'll do a video on that. It's good to be back.

Time to talk about blind playthroughs and why they should be your first experience with a game you're interested in playing. Anyways, here's Tempo Punk, a demo sent to me that showcases a rhythm based shooter featuring mechanics tied to the rhythm of the music. You can dash and slide as much as you want as long as you're on beat, while vibing to the three levels now available. You also shoot and reload to the rhythm. Everything is rhythm! I had a fun time with it, and that's coming from someone that isn't really a fan of rhythm shooters to begin with. I'm keen to see how the import music system is implemented though. But we'll have to wait until the final release. Until then, I hope the demo has what you're looking for.

I apologize in advance for the way the voice recording will turn out but I'll be sure have to clearer in the next one! Other than that, I'm quite new to this style of making content even though I've been doing videos since 22. Anyways, I hope you enjoy this one.
#nfs #nfsmostwanted #needforspeedmostwantedI Think skate. Is FunSackooba2025-09-23 | The new skate. has been out for a while now, and the reception has been very mixed. A lot of people have criticized it, a lot of people are enjoying it. But what can be said is that it's not the skate 4 fans of the franchise were hoping for. As I said in my recent post, this is my very first skate game, so I'm not coming into this video with any nostalgia, I'm giving it a shot on it's own merit. So far, it's been a blast even in spite of the horrible face models, annoying ai, the aggressive microtransaction model, the lack of a story and repetitive content, the skateboarding physics and animations are unreal, genuinely one of the best feelings of movement I've ever experienced in a game. If they play their cards right and actually listen to valid criticisms, skate. could turn into a genuine banger, and I look forward to diving into it further.
I haven't played a lot and I've only started, so don't expect 1000+ hours levels of gameplay here.

#skate #skategameRally Arcade Classics: A Throwback Arcade Rally GameSackooba2025-09-21 | Hey everyone, I have a game sent to me called Rally Arcade Classics, a throwback Arcade racer that reminds me of the 2000s era of Rally games that has a good selection of cars, a variety of Rally events and tracks, and mid 2000s style graphics that I'm really digging. It does however suffer from stiff collision and lacks satisfying physics that you see in other arcade racers. Also, having gearbox support would be nice, as well as mod support which could breathe some more life into this game. It still feels like a work in progress, but it has a lot of potential.
Also, this is a completely new format for me, where it's a more hands-on, first time approach to what I'm experiencing, rather than piling up a bunch of footage, having a really long think, writing paragraphs only to read it like a robot, edit and upload. Instead, I'm just doing it on the fly, since I wanna do more spontaneous forms of content moving forward. Hopefully you enjoy the video, and any constructive feedback would be appreciated. Anyways, definitely check the game out, I'll leave a link in the description below. And yes, the sound in the background is vibration from the wheel.

The main games I've been playing for this goal are Assetto Corsa, BeamNG and CarX Drift Racing. But I'm also open minded to trying other suggestions as well. On the other hand, I'm not doing scripted content anymore, because if I'm being brutally honest, I'm just sick and tired of it and it's not fun anymore. So moving forward, I wanna do more spontaneous, organic content from now on.
And yeah, I really need a physical handbrake.

But I haven't talked about Own The City yet. It's a spin-off of Carbon that does it's own thing entirely while still using the crew system. It has a good selection of cars, free roam, optional pursuits, great soundtrack, a decent story that's pretty dark for a racing game and handling is not too bad either. Loved it as a kid but I wouldn't really hold it over the main version of Carbon. Even still, it holds up well ever after all these years playing it for the first time as a kid.

But I decided to take it a step further and go back to my gaming roots, on the consoles themselves. For the moment, I have the PS2, PS3, X360, GBA SP, DS, PSP and 3DS on standby for whenever I wanna give them a spin. It's been a wholesome experience that's made me realize just how long I've gone without the physical sensations of holding a cartridge or a disc for that matter. This doesn't mean I'll stop using digital media though, because having the best of both worlds in my opinion is the best way to enjoy gaming. It doesn't need to be one side or the other.

But the PS2 is still my personal favourite to this day, and I'm amazed it still runs at all. What an incredible machine. Also, someone messed with my footage, I'll have to make sure it doesn't happen again.
Also, this is my very first recording outside the computer on the channel, so I'll definitely have to set up better for in the future. As for the audio inconsistencies, I don't have a tripod, and the only way I could hold my phone was between my thighs facing the monitor lol. But there was also an ironic sense of fun that I had in this horrible journey. This game shouldn't be erased, it should be set as an example of what to avoid in making a racing game. But this time for the PS2, and it's a version that was more fun than I expected it to be. The handling and physics were a lot better due to it being closer to Most Wanted and Carbon. Pursuits are broken but at least aren't boring like in the 7th gen version. The map is basically a reskin of Rockport and Palmont but rearranged to an extent and the story content isn't as good. But I think you'll still find an enjoyable racing game if you can look beyond the visuals. The PS2/Wii version, and PC with mods is how I'll be playing Undercover from now on.

But it's also a black mark in the series, and is Blackbox's worst Need for Speed game. I'm giving the PS2 version a try atm, but I'm not holding much hope.

#nfs #needforspeed #racinggamesMidnight Club 2: Cocotte vs DiceSackooba2025-08-06 | Well, here's something I never thought I would do. Challenge myself to beat all of LA in Midnight Club 2 with just the starter car. It was a genuinely eye opening experience for me, and I was amazed I was even able to pull it off considering the fact that I didn't really practice at all. It took a few restarts, and my manual handling is bad, but keeping it at max speed by shifting between gears 4 and 5 is key! Fish tailing makes it much easier but it also breaks the game due to how fast you can go with it. I don't even know how to do it anyway. The channel @Garacade inspired me to try out this challenge for myself since watching his streams trying to beat the final boss with the starter car, without fishtailing while he's at it. I'm open minded to doing more of this type of stuff in the future in this and other games. unique challenges like this opens new portals to experience a game differently. MC2 is genuinely one of the most unique racing games ever made, there's really nothing like it.
#midnightclub #racing #racinggames #midnightclub2Why I Keep Going Back to Older Racing GamesSackooba2025-08-04 | Racing game yap for you to watch, to agree and disagree with. My mood for racing in fast cars is back again and will be in the rotation of content once more. Here is a video of yapping along with some thought bubbles that occurred while I revisited older racing games I grew up with and loved as a kid, on top of experiencing/revisiting newer racing games as well as ones from the indie scene. Besides nostalgia, there are reasons for why I keep going back to old stuff, games that were good back then and are still good now. Enjoy.
UPDATE: I revoke my statement about having more fun with 5-1-0 than 2015. That game is even more shit.
Notes & Additional Yap: - No Forza footage of my own sorry. The only Forza games I liked were 2 and 3, and that was on the Xbox One years ago when I played them. Don't care for 4 and 5 at all, I played them and it was the same shit all over again but on less interesting maps. But I really wanna play 1. - Wish I could show every arcade racer I loved, but that would mean more yapping. - To be very clear here, brake to drift isn't inherently a bad mechanic. But it's awful when not done well, case in point..NFS 2015. I plan on trying some mods that supposedly fix the handling to an extent but I'm not holding my breath. - There is no escaping Dark Souls 2 in this life. - NFS 2015 out of the whole series is the most frustrating NFS game I've ever played, not because it's difficult, but because of how it turned out. It was the closest to having those Underground vibes, but is bent over with terrible handling and online-only. Such a waste.

So far it's been a blast and going in as blind as possible has been the best decision I've made in this game. But it's pretty brutal and there's a lot to learn, and dying always make me come back for another run, just like what a good roguelike game does. Nightrein has also sparked a greater interest in me for The Duskbloods compared to when it was first announced. Although, the idea of it being a Switch 2 exclusive is not something I expected nor am I enthusiastic about. I only hope that the game at least comes out polished and that it sees the light of day of being on other platforms. Either way, I'm really keen to see how the gameplay of it turns out.
This isn't a review of Nightrein, but merely my super early impressions of the game, that lead to my growing excitement for The Duskbloods. Both games represent a huge opportunity for change in From Software's Co-Op and PVP experience, and I'm glad they're trying something different here.

Metal Eden is in a demo stage and is due to be released this year, and so far it's showing a lot of promise. But there are some significant issues that need to be looked before the final product releases. If you're looking for something that's like a mix of Cyberpunk aesthetics, Titanfall movement and Doom 2016 inspired gunplay, then you might like what they're cooking here.

Greetings, I will be rambling on about something as of late that I've been wanting to get off my chest, and it's about my realizations with just how relying on saves too much diminished the enjoyment of certain games I could of enjoyed more, especially in the realm of retro gaming. Games are enjoyed for a variety of reasons, but my habits towards save scumming and quick save abuse in games also ruined the challenge and risk factor they could've given me for a more fulfilling experience. Which is why I'm undertaking a unique journey of experiencing the game for what it is, not stressing about losing data all the time. Whether it'd be challenges or casual playthroughs, I want to play in the moment from now on, because at the end of the day, it's just a game, and if it's fun, that's all that matters.
Saving will have a place in my journey, but not in the same way it used to be anymore. For me, it is no longer important, and if I lose the save, it does not matter.
In saying that, this is a topic I really wanted to discuss and I'm still learning about my new discoveries in gaming. So if you agree or disagree, feel free to say so, any feedback is appreciated.

It's a damn good game, and a pretty challenging one at that too. It's pretty short for a roguelite game but it oozes with soulslike atmosphere, the combat is a ton of fun and the music is also pretty good too. It does have it's issues and it is annoying that you can't save and quit a run in case you have to go do something else. Other than that, it's fantastic and if you're looking for games like Ultrakill and Dark Souls, definitely give Voidborn a try.
Notes: - Unfortunately I couldn't replicate or record a moment where the enemies can clip through the ground during gameplay. But if it happens in a locked room, your runs dead. If it's in the Shadowed City, you should be able to ignore it. - As for the cut at the end, I got hit by a copyright claim for the music being played during the ending. Absolutely infuriating but it is what it is.

The handling is like the original Super Mario Kart, and the loop is similar to Vampire Survivors, where you're killing enemies with your kart alongside the weapon attached to it. There is also an additional race mode you can do after completing a stage and there currently 6 in total. However, I do have my gripes with the game and once it ran out of gas, I was pretty much done with it in it's current state. However, it is still in early access and it has the potential to improve and expand it's features and ideas even further, which is why I'm still recommending it. It's pretty cheap, and for the asking price, you'll get a few hours of fun at the very least. Overall, it's a good game that needs more time in the oven before it goes out of early access.

It led to a few frustrations and crash outs, which were done outside of recording. But life is strange sometimes. When you think a game is bad, it can also stem from how you're feeling as well and the game isn't as bad as you think it is. It's a good game, but you have to be in the right mindset for it, and the gameplay style may or may not be for you. But it is worth a try at the very least.
Notes: - There is a codex explaining lore and the dimensions and weapons, but the big picture is incomplete because there's still content yet to be made. - Expert mode is agony. It's not impossible, but you really need to lock in to have any hope of doing it.
Also, revisiting Ultrakill gave me a huge reality check. There's so much that's changed and it showed in my run of the level before Gabriel in Act 2, and I wasn't even playing on the Brutal difficulty. I'm going to have to re-learn the game and go in blind again before Act 3 finishes.

Quartermain & The Cult of Cthulhu, an Easy FPS Editor game that has a lot of polish and content crammed into it. It's like a mix of Wolfenstein and Indiana Jones mixed with some Cosmic Horror elements. If you're looking for a high quality EFPS retro shooter, this is it.
Also, I'm aware there's a proper way to pronounce the word, "Cthulhu". But I use the general pronunciations because it is easier on the tongue.

By the Nine...This game is truly cursed, and also a technical mess that just isn't fun to play right now. In saying that, it's in a very early alpha build, so I hope that future builds fix A LOT of the issues that this game has. I'm sold on the idea of a wacky and casual multiplayer game, but not when they come out buggy, glitchy and incomplete. Best of luck to the team making this game, I'll be keeping an eye on it down the track.

So here I am, talking about one that I think is actually good. Despite the recent controversy, I've actually been having a blast with Splitgate 2, and is honestly a more realized version of 1. It's like a mix of COD, Apex, Titanfall 2 and Halo all blended in an arena style shooter with portal mechanics. There's plenty of game modes, three unique factions with different playstyles, a custom browser for community based multiplayer sessions, and a map maker. While multiplayer shooters are a divisive circle, I'm all for more of them popping out, especially ones that bring something new to the table, or at least try to alter the existing gameplay with new features. The game is free, go try it out.
#splitgate #splitgate2 #fps #gaming #gamesDeadlink IS STILL AWESOME!Sackooba2025-06-08 | Greetings my brothers in Talos. I am here worshipping one of the best FPS games to come out in recent memory, where it blends Rougelite and FPS like it was always meant to be. I honestly hold it in a similar regard to Doom Eternal and Ultrakill because of how fun it genuinely is to play, and how all of the mechanics are constantly engaged with in the loop. It also has one of the most beautiful stylised 3D visuals I've ever seen in a shooter so far. The only genuine con I can think of here, is that there isn't more of it! I hope that they come back to the game and give it more content, or even work on a sequel of sorts. The game is an absolute gem, go play it now!
For those wondering about the different crosshairs, you can't get them in game. I've been experimenting with crosshair overlays as of late, and have come to prefer using my own crosshairs at this point.

Nasty Zombies has you covered. I found this gem during the Vampires vs Zombies sale on Steam not long ago, and I've been having a good time with it so far, that it also made me wanna talk about the game and even revisit the original zombies mode in World at War. The movement here is fast and fun, weapons are simple but effective to use, perks and powerups are here, modifiers add more chaos or comfort to the session, and it supports co-op play. It's still being developed with more content planned and features, but it's still worth playing right now. Nasty Zombies is a ton of fun, go play it. And no, I haven't played Black Ops 6 yet.

Since the release of Doom The Dark Ages, the game has been growing and developing through it's players, and their experiences and experimentation with the gameplay mechanics and its overall game design. People have made their own guides, and I've decided to join the club, but with a VERY different take. Enjoy!

So far it's in a demo state and it still needs a lot of work. #gaming #indiegame #beatemup #theraidFPS Games Like Vampire SurvivorsSackooba2025-05-31 | I have here a very short but solid showcase of FPS games that combine elements from the Boomer and Movement shooter genre, that mixes them into the Survivors Like experience spawned from the success of Vampire Survivors. There may be some others that I haven't heard of or haven't played yet, and suggestions as to what else I could check out would be great. Nevertheless, these games ended up being a great start for my exploration of the FPS take on the survivor-like genre. I think you'll have a good time with these ones, enjoy!
