[Trainz 2022] The Magic Roundabout Crossover Remake (10k Sub Special) Fast Freight Productions 2026-04-21 | It’s official, I have finally reached 10,000 subscribers! And to celebrate, I have decided to bring back an old relic from the Pre-COVID-19 era, except without the audio from the Weinstein trainwreck known as “Doogal.” But instead, I decided to use the audio from the original British movie, which is far better in comparison. Far less pop culture references, little to no jokes unnecessarily added in, just plain perfection. Well it started a few years ago when a variety of crossover videos were made, except 99.9% of them used the US audio instead of the UK audio, the original. Perhaps most of us liked the infamous Thomas The Tank Engine reference during the chase, which wasn’t included in the UK version. Nor was it needed, since it was already perfect without the references.Now about the movie, not only was The Magic Roundabout a reinterpretation of a French animated stop-motion series, but it seemed like if all the characters, and the world around them suddenly became more alive. When it came to the US release, it was nowhere near as good as the UK version was. We in the states had to deal with hearing pop culture references and jokes that were unnecessary for the film (examples: here’s Johnny, Pirates Of The Carribean, WAZZUP, Blue Man Group, etc.) good lord, what were they smoking?What’s the deal with this remake? There are a ton of differences compared to the original remake I made before 2020. The original video was made using my MacBook Pro, which had horrible lagging problems, and was edited poorly. this remake has little to no lag whatsoever, and the editing has improved phenomenally. The audio I used this time was from the original UK movie, and some characters were changed for this remake. For Doogal, instead of using Spike The Dragon from MLP FiM, I instead replaced him with Joseph Joestar from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 2: Battle Tendency, which is even more fitting since he is also British! As for the big baddie, instead of using Sir Topham Hatt as the villain, I instead used DIO from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 3: Stardust Crucaiders, also a Brit. For those who don’t like the blood seen in some scenes, just pretend it’s cherry from a local cherry farm he used after getting fired by his own boss. No surprise since he used to make donuts that one night down in Egypt back in ’88. Spoiler alert: Dio’s stand had lost its ability to stop time but instead become more intimidating to the viewers.One more thing, at the end, instead of making a custom post credits scene at the end in video form, I decided to use it as a screenshot instead. What is this supposed to show? Well it’s an SP Cab Forward with a breakdown train clearing up what’s left of the snowblower after being blown up. I am also aware that the model for the tender of said snowblower was an oil tender, not a coal tender. That was a mistake on my part. Besides that, I seem to have outdone myself for this remake. I still can’t believe I have finally reached 10,000 subscribers, seriously, thank you for subscribing! Channel Intro 2026 Edition Fast Freight Productions 2026-04-19 | So for the longest time I never had a proper intro for my channel. That is, until now. Now originally I wanted to use my channel’s profile picture as part of my intro, but I decided to go with the similar style I used for my ImageMovers intro I made back when I used to have T:ANE, long before they were stolen by my now-terminated imposter with the same name. Except this time, I used the Connecticut Public Television outro theme. If anyone has watched Barney and Friends when they were very young, I mean besides me, I’m most certain that you would recognize that theme very well. Ah, those were good times.The locomotive model used here is the Paulz Trainz version of the AC-11 model, but reskinned heavily by a friend (as well as some extra modifications), and the rolling stock is a combination of different cars available from both the DLS and Trainz Forge. Now for this year I have no idea what I was doing, but I decided to mash a handful of videos together. So I was bored one day and decided watching some Veggietales videos (for meme purposes obviously) and one of the episodes I just so happened to have stumbled upon was An Easter Carol. And in that episode, there is a song called “boids,” which is based on how Pa Grape (Seymour) mispronounces “birds.” This was the result why I added in every “Boyd” related image into the video, including one featuring the late Jim Boyd (1941-2010) who was an editor for Railroad Magazines. South Simcoe #1057 in The Music Man?! Fast Freight Productions 2026-03-20 | This may not be a surprise to anyone who has actually seen this movie, but this one definitely surprised me.So while I was working on some videos during my spare time (one being a surprise video for Easter and another being a Simpsons remake) I had a thought in mind. I was just binge watching videos here on YouTube when I got recommended the 1962 version of “The Music Man” by Meredith Wilson, then the version with Hugh Jackman, and then this one with Matthew Broderick. So I started watching it and right off the bat, there she was!This literally caught me off guard right at the beginning, because I didn’t think the 1057 would be operating back then, but also star in a Disney movie! And somehow her whistle was dubbed with running mate 136 (unless if that really is the 1057’s whistle but terribly dubbed with the lack of a Doppler effect and in one scene where there is no steam coming from the whistle) it was my first time seeing the old girl and I was mind blown when I stumbled upon this movie.Anything else about the 1057? I haven’t seen a lot of videos about her, since there are so little of them here on YT. If she ever does return to steam one day, that would be awesome. Costa Mesa Model Train Show 2026 Fast Freight Productions 2026-02-21 | Here I am once again at the Costa Mesa Model Train Show. Same location, same date as last year surprisingly. As usual, the models that were on display, as well as seeing several layouts in action, it’s always a must see for everyone who attends these events yearly. I mean besides myself of course. Too bad I didn’t get to film the whole thing because of how the crowds were forming, especially around the Thomas layouts (which I didn’t get to film, but they were still impressive as well) and I had no choice but to move on. So many layouts, so little time for me to film them all.From the smallest of z scale trains to the largest of G scale trains, even a handful of merchandise as far as the eye can see, always a very exciting experience. Lots of friendly folks with lots of tips for anyone who is new to the hobby, and to those who need help with maintaining, customizing their layouts, as well as running the trains themselves! A must-see event I recommend to everyone who is into trains, both big and small. 10/10Now for this year’s event, I wasn’t here on the 14th since I was very busy helping my parents out with a storage unit. Not to mention it was Valentine’s Day, which is really saying something. Because of that, we had no choice but to go on the 15th instead. Anyway about the event, it may look kinda small compared to last year since it was all inside one building instead of two like last year, but it was still a lot of fun. However, this is about that odd sounding blaster-like sound that everyone might not be familiar with, and that’s the sound of the constant hissing of the pumps used on a steam locomotive. [Trainz 2019] The Ghost Train Of Cajon Pass Halloween Special Fast Freight Productions 2025-10-31 | You may have heard of the many derailments in Cajon Pass, mainly from the years 1989, 1994 and 1996. Even the most recent one in 2023. Not to mention one of the most rare derailments in 1978. Or was it 1975? However, this one in particular, has a spooky twist, which occurred after a horrific train derailment back in 1937.October 7th, 1937:It was a very stormy night at the Mojave Yard, and SP X5032 with a freight train was ready to depart after a Lark train passes by on the furthest track. This train was bound for West Colton. Since the departure, it was going smoothly, until the train started descending towards the pass, then the inevitable happened. The only survivors of this wreck were the brakeman and the conductor who were in the caboose, far away from the lead engine sparing their lives from the inevitable.After the crash, all the passenger trains (not shown in the video) have been rerouted while the tracks were being rebuilt. Freight trains would also be rerouted sharing trackage rights on the ATSF (now BNSF) right of way. Many train crews that go through the area still heard that mournful whistle from the derailment site.October 12th, 1953The ghost of the old 5032 was said to be lurking on the tracks where she ran on, but this train did not have such an encounter, which was one of a few trains which still made it through Cajon Pass, even past the old derailment site.October 31st, 1975It’s Halloween, and it was still raining cats and dogs that night. The ghost train was out on a prowl for her next victim, and this train 8534 East, was about to meet her worst fate yet. The whistle can be heard in the pass once again, and the engineer, knowing he might go insane, tried to respond back to the ghost by blowing his horn. Further on the descent, at the moment the engineer applied the brakes, then came the worst nightmare ever. Instead of slowing down, the train kept speeding up, further down the grade. It was going way too fast for the crew members to bail out, so both he and the brakeman at the head end would have to ride it out. It was no use. Then came every engineer’s worst nightmare. Unfortunately there were no survivors of this crash, not even the conductor at the caboose, about 25 cars behind the locomotives did not survive either. Another train taken by the old ghost.Let this be a lesson to anyone, not just railroad employees, but to anyone who is in the area, railfans too, that Cajon Pass is notorious for the many train related accidents that could happen at any given time. But for every October, you’d best prepare yourselves for the inevitable. Who knows? Anyway, any time you’re near the derailment site along the former SP right of way, watch out. Train Whistle Origin 8 - The Definitive Remake Fast Freight Productions 2025-10-12 | For those who never saw this video, I have made a few mistakes in the original version I need to point out. For one thing, I have misassumed that the Southern #4501’s infamous 6 chime from 1985 was a CofG 6 chime, when it was actually a B&M 6 chime, according to one of the videos which has somewhat convinced me about this. Second of all, te whistle you thought was from T&P #610, was actually from SP #4445, which we now know according to some sources. Thirdly, the text you see in this video are all white by default now.Original video: youtu.be/-afSs9YkVfg?si=kisofQeZ_CY5yGnpAs for K&L Trainz’s NYC Niagara whistle, I was told that it didn’t sound like the 765’s whistle, and didn’t understand if there was another audio clip elsewhere that used the same sound, or the same pitch. A little bit of feedback would help me out on this one a lot.And the biggest mystery of all, would be Sam’s Whistle, which has me even more confused than ever. So according to the Pro Sound Effects website, there is a collection of train sounds, and for the whistles they are apparently labeled as it were recorded from a 1907 steam locomotive, but here’s the problem. There are a great number of steam locomotives preserved in the United States, and only a few of them are built in 1907. W&W #58 can’t be the possible origin because there are no recordings of this type of whistle being used on her whatsoever. C&NW #1385 can’t be it either since the whistle and bell don’t match the sound of the bell barely heard in the sound recording shown in the video.That could only mean the one and only possible origin left would be Saginaw Timber/Polson Logging Co. #2, except she was built in 1912, not 1907, yet the whistle sounded the closest and the bell matches the sound perfectly! Perhaps the sound recorders mislabeled these sounds by putting in the wrong year? Were these sound recorders misinformed? I don’t know, but what I do know is that only until we get official confirmation by the studio behind these recordings will we ever know the true origin.And of course, all the feedback is welcome for this video. And no, any questions regarding to my nutshells are still being ignored.Interesting fact: The first whistle you heard in this video (used on Santa Margarita Ranch #2) was originally used on an SP Cab Forward locomotive. It also pays tribute to the now unavailable Tidewater Chronicles Trainz series, and its creator Tidewater312 which is probably no longer on Youtube anymore sadly, and the discontinued Cajon Railz series on SCL3618’s channel, which he has now moved onto model railroading instead of focusing strictly on Trainz videos like he used to be when he first joined. But little did they know, that another locomotive may possibly be another candidate. That being the infamous Bonhomie & Hattisburg Southern #250, a Baldwin built 2-6-2 steam locomotive. Huntington Beach Air Show 2025 Edited and Finalized Fast Freight Productions 2025-10-08 | So if you couldn’t tell, this is the edited and finalized version of my “raw and unedited” video I posted this past weekend of this year’s Huntington Beach Air Show. With the whole government shutdown in progress, that meant we never got to see no USAF Thunderbirds, F-35 demonstrations, FA-18 Hornet and Super Growler demonstrations, which was a real pain to hear such gut-wrenching news. On the bright side, at least we did get some old prop-driven antiques up in the air, and the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) put on a little show for us Huntington Beach residents, as well as the rest of Orange County, including Westminster, which is where I live with my family. Such a nice thing for our neighbors from the great white north, eh? For a low budget film, I guess you can say that they were creatively inspired by Disney’s old works, which this studio would animate in a similar way as of the original TBE short, but with a few twists.
