Don’t wear white, black or red. White glows and becomes the most noticeable thingon the TV screen. Black is too harsh and can suck up all the light. Reds bleed oncamera and are distracting.2. Pastel shirts work well on TV.3. The safest color on TV is blue.4. Don’t wear dangly earrings. They distract.5. Remove jewelry that moves, makes noise, or could hit your microphone.6. Be wrinkle-free.7. Don’t wear stripes, herringbone, small intricate designs, or flashy jewelry. They arehard for a TV camera to pick up on.8. Don’t wear checks.9. Although traditionally classified as an anxiety disorder, there is increasing evidence for PTSD being a memory disorder. Draw Curiosity 2016 in Review - Thank You! Draw Curiosity 2016-12-31 | Happy New Year and thanks for an amazing 2016! Sure, globally 2016 hasn't been great, but from the perspective of this little project on the internet, it couldn't have gone better.This video is quite self-indulgent, but I wanted to give a short history of the origin of this project, a summary of 2016 for Draw Curiosity, lots and lots and lots of thank yous and what is to come in 2017! Apologies for the audio quality - on the one hand, I don't have the best set up at home (no lights and depending on where you are, it can be noisier), but I also had a dreadful cold which had me bedridden for a few days, so I didn't get a chance to find a better location to shoot either because I was too ill.2017 - to reiterate:The plan is to front load as much work as possible. The Visual Illusion That Helps You Lose Weight Draw Curiosity 2016-11-13 | This isn't clickbait. Our eyes are bigger than our bellies and in general, we're pretty bad at estimating sizes. If we can simply modify what the plates we serve on look like, we can take advantage of the Delbouef illusion and the Ebbinghaus illusion to serve ourselves more accurate serving sizes. How To Build A Cyborg Beetle Draw Curiosity 2016-10-31 | I'm going to show you how to make your very own remote controlled insect in today's Draw Curiosity Halloween Special. The cyborg beetles research is from Prof. Michel Maharbiz and Hirotaka Sato's work from 2009 to the present day. You'll learn about insect flight, how to trigger it and how the direct flight muscles can be stimulated to control the beetle's steering system. Most impressively, they also found a way to control insect locomotion - not just in flight but on land too by controlling how the insects walk.-- ERROR CORRECTION --Quick note to mention I made a mistake from 1:39 - 1:47 (unless I'm forgiven for saying "which I think is the largest beetle...").Mecynorrhina torquata and mecynorrhina torquata ugandensis are not the largest beetles in the world, but rather, amongst the largest flower beetles (which are the ones that have a habit of flying).Beetle sellers and suppliers love mislabelling them and calling them Goliath beetles, which I think is where my confusion arose from.The rest of the information in the video should be correct - but please always let me know if you spot any mistakes.
