Every time I see "chasing cars" in the title of an edit, I get excited because I mistaken the name for this song instead because the titles are so similar. I end up pretty confused once I hear the actual song in the edit and not the song I was expecting haha.
I've had this song for such a long time, and I just recently heard it again, and it immediately reminded me of these two ships.
The lyrics imply that the past is the past, and the mistakes you've made then doesn't matter in the present. I kinda interpreted it as redemption, or development regarding whoever the subject of the song is about. Zuko had a major redemption arc, and I believe Kylo is still in development, especially since episode 9 is coming out and it will most likely consist of more character development.
In a way, Zuko and Katara are like younger versions of Kylo and Rey, like a more innocent version of the two. They also both take on the philosophy of the yin and yang, and the whole enemies to lovers trope... why do I always fall for these kinds of couples?? lol :PP
ALSO I literally had no idea that Mark Hamill was Ozai like holy moly.
