In my opinion, these couples should have been canon, and BOTH of them should've survived. But again, just my opinion :P Just that the concept of the dyad is so intriguing and interesting to me, and has become one of my fav couple tropes so far.
I'm also not too sure I'm satisfied with the final product of this edit. There doesn't seem to be exposition, rising action, or a climax, at least to me it doesn't feel that way. As if it's just dragging on. I fell immensely in love with the song and was obsessed with making it work for both Zutara and Reylo, and hopefully, I was able to accomplish in making it work. Especially with the lyrics of the song: "The water's clean and warm and green, I'm not allowed to swim, I'm scared of getting in." The song just seemed pretty fitting for the two pairings, especially with the haunting and eerie sound to it as well.
I interpreted the lyrics of “I’m not allowed to swim” as in they shouldn’t be “allowed” to give in to this temptation, because they feel it's wrong. Because with their dynamics, it's kind of a constant back and forth of “Should I indulge in this?” and “what would happen if I do?” At least more so with Ben and Rey. It's wrong because they are on opposing sides, but they find compassion and understanding for one another, understanding originating all the way back to their corrupted childhoods.
Also the parallels with Kylo and Zuko and their abusive fathers, at least in Kylo's case, a fatherly figure. They've been manipulated, misguided, and taken advantage of. There comes a point where they "overthrow" their manipulators. It also had occurred to me that Ozai and Snoke even have the same bone structure in their faces sort of? Such an unnerving detail that I hadn't noticed until making these parallels in my editing.
Well anyway, I hope you guys at least enjoy some of it haha ❤

old description - [I HIGHLY recommend that you wear ear/headphones for this one, especially for the ending of the edit. This is extremely different from any of the edits that I have done, at least in my opinion. It’s almost like I created my own meta? I think? Or an AU? As if the timeline of the sequel trilogy folds on and overlaps itself. If Rey were to have a force vision predicting the entire trilogy, this would’ve been it.
Rey has spent her lonesome life on the desert planet Jakku. Suddenly, she is unknowingly drawn towards something. Something utterly intriguing within the skywalker family as she reaches out to them, sensing that her destiny is intertwined with who she finds to be Ben and his family. It’s as if Luke asks her what she foresees of his family. All she sees is darkness, intermixed with hers as well. Although she sees the fate of the skywalkers, she also sees how her destiny becomes intertwined with Ben, due to their connection. She becomes embroiled with him, as a dyad in the force. She hears him, telling her to let the past die. In this context, it is almost as if Ben is telling her to let go, to give in to their fate. He is fully aware of the tragedy that his family is plagued with, and he is also aware that it will remain unhindered.
Sorry for the short description, but I feel like there isnt much to say about this one, also because of the fact that im a bit confused myself by this edit. Came out of nowhere :P]
Hope you guys enjoy!! Stay safe and healthy please! 💞
