Zorro is always on the go. It is a little like he has ADHD :) Peanuts like Zorro (the smallest of mousy runts) are not normal in their development or in their behavior. He is not only tiny, he is also much more active than a normal mouseling. When not sleeping or eating, he is constantly on the move. His movement is somewhat random, both because his eyesight is underdeveloped but also because his little brain is not quite normal. His digestion is not right and he has a much bigger appetite than his siblings, although he is not growing and is not very good at feeding himself. I am giving him extra feedings, something he still very much needs. Zorro is around 16 days old here.
Mouse parents will often kill peanuts and even runts, but his foster parents Hugo and Nora dote on him, often giving him more attention than they give his litter mates, they seem to sense that he needs it.
