Mice will grieve for companions they were very close to, especially if they had a pair bond, but they do not seem to grieve the loss of their children, especially if they still have other pups to care for. Hugo and Nora did not seem to take much notice of Zorro passing, although they had been so good to him when he was still with them. In the mousy world life goes on.......
The adult mice are: large brown and white one is Hugo, chocolate brown with tan underside is Nora, then the babies are: light tan and white is Sally, all white one is Sarah, brown and white is Suzie and white with grey spots is Sam.
