The ZOOM R20 features 16 true mono tracks that are available for recording, but at first glance, it appears that you can only record to predetermined tracks. It is true that Input 1 can only record to Track 1 or Track 9...but after the recording is done it's easy to move the tracks around so that you can always use the combo jacks for guitars or synths. Layer up to 16 mono guitar tracks using the single Hi-Z input!
