Gaz Rendar | How to control note release rate on a PO-128 Mega Man Pocket Operator - a short tutorial (PO-28 too) @GazRendar | Uploaded July 2021 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
A useful feature of the PO-128 Mega Man Pocket Operator is its ability to set the release rate -- or the sustain -- of any bass or melody chiptune note. In this short video I'll demonstrate how to manipulate the release rate and provide examples for what different release settings sound like.

The release rate controls should work the same, or at least very similar on the PO-28 Robot.

For the most part, I'll continue to produce my usual types of videos. But occasionally I'll share quick tips from what I've learned via trial and error in short, focused videos for Pocket Operator newbies, or for those of you who are trying to learn about unique PO features so you can determine which PO you want to buy.
