Late last year, before my shoulder surgery, I rode the brand-new 2026 Zontes ZT03-F, a Chinese-made adventure bike that looks absolutely fantastic and comes rammed with features — all for around £7,200 on the road. On paper, it looks like an unbeatable bargain… but does it live up to the promise?
In this honest real-world review, I take the ZT03-F for a proper ride to see how it stacks up. While the styling is spot-on and the spec sheet reads brilliantly, there are a few areas where the bike shows its “built-to-a-price” nature — including the feel from the brakes, vibration through the mirrors, and the overall refinement compared to other Chinese brands like Voge and CFMoto.
All that said, it’s perhaps a slightly better bike than I first thought — and there’s definitely a lot to like here. So is the Zontes ZT03-F a genuine budget ADV contender, or does it fall just short of greatness?
