We haven't build a computer in a while so this week I thought we'd start looking at an old Zenith data systems 286 desktop. Thick with dust on the inside this little system seems to have spent it life in an office environment.
In part 1 we clean it out, take a look at the hardware, and get it booting from its hard drive.
The website I used for the HDD characteristics is stason.org. I don't know why I kept calling it stanson. stason.org
