Its Christmas, its the time for giving and for my part I'm throwing together this little 486 rig, selling it on eBay and all proceeds will go to a local charity, Cash for Kids NI.
The system we are starting with is a Compaq ProLinea 425s but it gets a few upgrades along the way turning it into what I think is a pretty decent little retro rig.

The machine sold for an incredible £250 and all that money is now with the charity. Coupled with some direct donations we managed to raise a total of £310. I can't thank you all enough.
* I've just realised I didn't get round to doing a comparison of the demo running after the new processor was dropped in . With all the faffing around the 5.25" caddy it completely slipped my mind.
