Not quite the full next part but rather just a quick update. I've fixed my AV cable and we now have glorious SID chip music but you can also more clearly see the colours are wrong, especially on the Donkey Kong title screen so it must be that colour ram.
I have a replacement on order so once I get that along with the test cart and harness we'll be back to finish off this board.
