We have 2 disk drives to look at this week. One of them just needs aligned which is the main focus of the video, the other I bought spares or repairs with no idea what's wrong with it...

As I said in the video aligning a disk drive manually like this isn't necessarily the correct way to do it but it certainly is a lot easier than hooking up a scope and a lot cheaper than buying a test diskette (£60). I can't say for certain that it is aligned correctly but if it reads everything I try then surely that's enough.
