The new powerful white LED illumination with a high color rendering index enables you to visualize your sample in true color. The constant color temperature of the LED facilitates system operation and digital documentation. For fluorescence, the powerful LEDs in various wavelength are both energy efficient and easier to handle than conventional HBO illumination. You are also avoiding warm-up and cool-down times, lamp replacement, and lamp adjustment.
ZEISS Axiolab 5 uses the new Smart Microscopy concept: at all times, you are able to stay focused on your sample. With the press of a single button right on your microscope stand, you can acquire crisp images in true color, just as you see them through the eyepieces. The system automatically adjusts all parameters for you and adds the correct scaling information automatically to your saved image. All this is happening in a stand-alone operation, without needing a PC or additional software.
