Learning licks from your favourite guitar players is a great way of building your vocabulary on guitar. And who better to study than classic players like Jimmy Page? Few rock players haven’t incorporated Page-isms into their playing over the years – and this lesson from Elixir Strings artist Zach Comtois breaks down one of Jimmy’s most distinctive solo lines.
Based around a simple minor pentatonic shape, you’ll recognize it immediately – and it’s an easy, versatile lick that you can use in your own solos.
