Yuji VS Vecna Isn’t Fair

Stranger Things Season 5 has finally released, and with JJK not only getting a mini movie but also Season 3 being around the corner, I figured why not sit here and discuss a fun little matchup regarding The Main Character of Jujutsu Kaisen, and the main antagonist of Stranger Things. A lot of you are probably thinking Yuji with one punch would snap Vecna in half as bro is getting diffed by a group of Highschoolers. But this matchup upon closer inspection not only is a lot closer than you might think, but the narrative aspect between both characters would make for a crazy interaction. For example, what would Yuji see if Vecna used his powers onto him? Could Yuji domain expansion inside of Vecnas well… basically the equivalent of a domain expansion. With me today i figured why not have my GOAT Allons as we both have been on the stranger things wave, and yk i had to summon a fellow jjk youtuber for this topic. And to start things off differently from the usual, lets actually get some info or background lore on these two combatants. Vecna is an entity or being who emerged after Henry or 001, was banished into the Upside Down by Eleven. Due to the energy in this dimension and its environment, it's only natural for his body to adapt to these changes, allowing Henry by the time we see him, emerge in his full vecna glory. He’s notorious for entering the minds of his victims and killing them from the inside, psychologically breaking you down or making you go insane through traumatic events or memories in your life. In contrast to Yuji Itadori, who himself was put into such a bad position the moment the series started. By risking his own life to save someone elses’, he must now have to consume all the fingers of Sukuna or just die right then and there, giving yuji the option to live the best life he could while he can. In this time we see Yuji despite losing all of those around him, and both physically and mentally bearing the pain of Sukuna. Whether it's through sheer will on his own or even having those around him there to help like Aoi Todo, he himself has proven that he’s not only a capable sorcerer, but one of insane will and determination. Two qualities that honestly are going to be very important for Yuji to even survive being in the Upside Down. Vecna of course can utilize the same powers as Eleven, making him Best Buy Magneto. We also just see them ripping through Walls and Humans like butter, meaning they're far exceeding those Superhuman ranges. We can actually scale Henry to El who we know in Season 1 was able to open the Upside Down Gates due to how intensely she was using her powers. Mind you before this increase in power, we’d see Yuji go on to harm and combat Mahito, the same Mahito who went on to fight a significantly stronger Mechamaru. An easy comparison to make here is the tremors Mahito caused in Shibuya to Vecnas earthquakes around Hawkins. Number wise Mahitos is just nowhere near Vecnas, However I feel Vecna would only really be this strong if he was upside down, as regular Vecna without his domain expansion would obviously be weaker. Meaning if it’s just Base Vecna or the one before the Upside Down, I’d say he’s getting bullied pretty easily. Even despite the stat difference or gap, Vecna's abilities are significantly amped and can curse Yuji's mind, manipulate the upside down environment to his advantage, and even summon a bunch of cannon fodder to wear Itadori down. If this is Yuji going into Season 3, I believe due to his mental state and lack of versatility, he’d be overwhelmed by Vecna especially because of the insane numbers advantage Vecna has. If we gave him a Todo buff now that would maybe be a different story, but if it’s just him stuck being taunted by visions of everyone he’s lost then his mental is cook bro let’s be real. I mean you saw how defeated he was after Nobara’s facesplosion and even after Choso got microwaved. However, things do change when we take into account Post Shinjuku Yuji, and potentially even Modulo.. Hear us out. But does he really even need the domain to cook Vecna though? Sure based on what we’ve seen Yuji use canonically in the series so far, yeah the domain is his best bet. But Yuji has Sukuna’s shrine technique which means he should have a furnace flame ability of his own. Of course this would only apply to post JJK Yuji, but flames are literally the perfect counter to both Vecna and his army of freakazoids. Remember these aren’t your average flames like the basic ahh molotov cocktails Nancy was throwing, we are talking CE enhanced flames. Yeah bro if Yuji just locks in and uses these attacks Vecna is getting obliterated.
