The White House shared a press release on Tuesday in response to President Donald Trump sending the National Guard to Portland.

"The Radical Left’s reign of terror in Portland ends now, with President Donald J. Trump mobilizing federal resources to stop Antifa-led hellfire in its tracks," the press release said.

Last week, Trump authorized 200 members of the Oregon National Guard to perform federal functions for 60 days, including protecting federal property amid ongoing or potential protests.
