Any day now, the WA Senate could vote on HB 2266. The bill forces cities to take on homeless drug housing and shelters that would likely turn into magnets for crime, chaos, and death.
The law is carefully written by Democrats so neighbors have virtually no ability to pushback or have a say.
This bill is getting zero mainstream media coverage, yet it could have a devastating impact on communities.
Just look at Seattle where "permanent supportive housing" is being pushed as an answer to solve the street crisis. Yet it's getting worse each year, leading to urban blight and an exodus of businesses near these types of facilities.
One of the biggest players in this "permanent supportive housing" space is Plymouth Housing.
In this public hearing, listen to one of their executives admit the vast majority of vulnerable people go in to these facilities to die and are NOT incentivized to find jobs.
In other words, the homeless industrial complex becomes the main beneficiary.
Why are Democrats so hell-bent on throwing away millions in taxpayer dollars on this mess?
