I’ve heard folks online talk about personal brand being aesthetics, content formats, or trying to look more important than they are.

I’ll repeat that last part for emphasis, they think personal branding is trying to look more important than they are.

Yuck.

When people know what you stand for, what you are good at, and what kind of problems you can help solve, opportunities become easier to create.

Making it easier for the right people to understand who you are is a beautiful thing.
