I had this thought recently:

“What if I worked my whole twenties and do not have enough to show for it?”

Lovely little thought.
Helluva morning affirmation.
Would not recommend.

The more I sat with it though, the more I realized:

Trying still counts.

Even when it takes longer than you wanted.
Even when the business did not scale how you pictured.
Even when the goal post moved again.

Those years were not wasted.

They were reps.

The extra hours.
The failed attempts.
The awkward sales calls.
The projects that did not land.
The seasons where you had to learn the hard way.

It all compounds.

Skill. Judgment. Resilience. Pattern recognition.

I remind myself of this in training:

Every rep counts.

One rep may not change your body.

But it still counts toward who you are becoming.

I’m still learning to respect the process, even when the timeline does not always align with how I originally envisioned it to.
