Just because we offer videos with out a fee doesn't mean we want to go broke! My videos are accessable to showcase what EBMAS WT and regular WT are and to help educate the world. They are also free so that people in poverty can have a chance to learn on their own, or for schools in countries stuggling with to find a real instructor. The rest of you are enjoying get away with it with out paying.
I know when I had rent and power bills at my store front people also showed up without paying, going as long as they could and forcing me to ask for tuition. Succesful schools lock student sinto electronic payment extrations and 3 year contracts and they use lawyers who sue you to get tuition sometimes.
Why do martial art people do this? What is it about our craft that makes people think it is dishonorable to charge tuition, but then these same people won't pay it forward without asking?
THere is a storefront in your area that needs your tuition to stay open. You need a place to train too, so make sure you pay in advance. If not me, then who?
Si-Hing Isaiah is now taking Brazilian Jui-Jitsu and he is really enjoying it. I encouraged him to do this, BJJ or Judo, so we can capture that knowledge into our school. I did it too, but I am too old to do it again and we need the skill set to serve as our opponent in drills. The school he ended up at is run by a famous sport BJJ coach, a true national teasure, and I am happy the tuition is keeping the dojo open. I hope my son trains there.
Libertarians have a principle that calls for us to pay without being asked , if we have taken something, We try to pay more too, with a tip or by buying merchindise to keep them in business. We understand a free market requires our effort to sponsor what we love, not hope someone else covers it.
