The longlist for the Booker Prize 2025 has just been released. No Ian McEwan, or Sarah Hall, or Anthony Shapland, but plenty of other books you didn't know you would have to read this Summer.
I am here to release you from that burden. You DO NOT need to read the longlist. I certainly won't be... and yet there are some intriguing titles here that I am going to pick up because being part of the conversation is kinda fun.
So, if you're reading for pleasure, live your best life, but if you're reading to keep up with the 'gramers, 'tubers, and 'tokers then buy responsibly and still live your best life. No judgment.
