i don't talk about shuuharu a whole lot, but i still love them with all my heart. they're very nostalgic for me in a lot of ways -- i still remember coming home from school as a kid and watching their relationship progress back when pokemon advanced was aired on kids wb at like 3/3:30 aha..

it's funny, really, because they're one of those ships i don't even ever like. think to read fanfic solely dedicated to them or anything, because i think of their relationship as such a given already. like, for example, i read a lot of ikari fic, bc i want to see their dynamic explored more. i love when it also features contest, but i don't seek it out as the main ship bc i'm just like.... of course they're together? idk if i'm explaining this very well lmao i literally just finished watching the new vrains ep and am also sick but like...... it's hard for me to imagine seriously them being with anyone else, but also their canon relationship progression was very satisfying for me as a kid and still now.

they're great rivals, and that's what made them great friends eventually, and then obviously somewhere along the way the developed feelings for each other. it's just so wholesome and fantastic. i'm so glad that after all this time, there are still so many people wanting to celebrate this ship :')

anyways, i usually edit them raw, so i wanted to try doing something fx-y for them this year. it was a lot of fun! hope y'all enjoy, and see ya next time
