Rudston monolith is the tallest standing stone in England, and the largest of the so called "Devil's Arrows" is the second tallest. What they were used for we have no idea, but the Rudston Monolith is partly encircled by the Gypsey Race, while the so called Arrows are pointing in the general direction of Thornborough Henges, about 40 kilometres to the North West.
