"I will not be lectured on the virtues of tolerance, or accept bargaining chips labeled 'in the name of tolerance' from someone who, in order to comply with their religion get down on their knees 5 times a day and pray to a icon of discrimination".
Intentionally or not, what you appear to be saying with this statement is that you consider all Muslims to be intolerant and that you have no wish to discuss such issues with anyone of the Islamic faith as you consider you tolerance to be far greater than theirs.
This is a rather sweeping statement and regardless of if you realize it or not is the reason why you are taking so much flak over your stance towards Islam.
Your air of superiority is accepted when talking science because that is your forte. You are a scientist and dragging the educationally challenged out of the dark ages for fun and profit is a pleasure to behold.
Equally so your stance on free speech is also applauded and you have gained a great deal of respect among your fellow YouTubers for that and rightly so.
However this sweeping statement alone and your clarification if it in your follow up video where you reiterate it several times is out of step with what you have come to be known for.
I don't know if it is because you lack an Islamic Nemesis to direct your message against such as an Islamic PCS or it is something else but you cannot continue to still be held as a bastion for free speech and reasoned discourse while making such statements.
If your intent is to attack Islamic fundamentalism in places such as Saudi Arabia then do so by all means but be specific in your targets, stick to the target and don't generalize and please do your research before your set your videos to render.
