Welcome to part forty eight in this series of videos in which I take the advice of all of those Christian fundamentalists and read my bible - literally

You see if you are going to believe in the literal "truth" of the bible and take it literally then literally is the only way that you can read it.

In this episode Joseph takes his two sons to meet his father Jacob and his alternate personality Israel having heard that yet again, he is waiting patiently upon the quayside, going through the change in his pocket to see if he had enough money to pay the ferryman for a boat ride across the River Styx

Of course when Jacob is involved, nothing is simple and after telling Joseph about how he wants to keep his children as his own, Joseph has to admonish him for the way he is touching him, which of course won't be the last time that a man of god gets into trouble for the way he lays his hands upon young boys.

But everything turns out fine and then Jacob blesses Joseph and awards him an extra portion of his inheritance, probably because he wanted shut of it rather than to buy Joseph's silence.
