Known primarily as a 'jazz horn' (becaue that's what Bobby Shew is known for), this trumpet can be found in scores of community groups, funk bands, it's loved by lead players... It IS a do it all horn. Because of its popularity, I went all out in my mouthpiece options; 5 legit pieces, 3 soloist (mellower) options, and 3 commercial/lead type mouthpieces. This way if you're considering a Z, you'll be able to say, 'Yeah; that's a sound I can get...' It is a great horn, easy tone production, light AND very rewarding.
