In a previous video conducting maintenance on the front brake pads it was discovered that the brake fluid had turned and will need to be flushed, generally due to moisture contamination. A vacuum bleeder will be employed for this operation.
The reservoir will be opened first removing the oil within it, and giving it a proper cleanout. then it will be filled with fresh DOT4.
At least one entire reservoir of oil is pulled through for an adequate flush, being mindful to keep topping off as the level drops with a final topping off.
The brakes should be tested and inspected before operating the bike on the road.
