***Reissuing due to a mistake in the battery values***
Today we will be repairing and upgrading this Dewalt Lithium Ion Battery pack which shows no functionality. After opening the unit and finding all of the cells are dead, we evaluate whether its worth repairing or not, get it working and then tally up the time and cost.
What I planned on getting and what was installed was mixed up during research. This was supposed to get the 3000 @30 and instead got the 4500 @ 45Amps. Its a higher rating and instead of the capacity of just around 6AH it sits at about 9AH. Note that the 4500 was still cheaper by a few dollars per battery than the 3000.
