Makoto Date calls Kiryu with grave news. Haruka has been involved in a hit-and-run accident caused by some reckless punk.

While Kiryu can barely think straight, Date drops another bomb on him. Haruka was protecting someone with her life when she was hit -- a little boy named Haruto, her infant son.
