In Chapter 4, Kiryu's new BFF Nagumo introduces him to the Hirose family as Kiryu Aniki (older brother). He also meets Toru Hirose, the patriarch of this family.

Matsunaga has gotten himself in trouble with his bar customers by roughing some of them up. Kiryu steps in to lend a hand.

The next day, Kiryu shows a photo of Haruka to the Hirose boys and they awkwardly claim that they've never seen her. Their odd reactions lead Kiryu to believe they know more than they're letting on.
