A flashback shows how Yuta Usami cared for Haruka. He was very protective of her. Although they only spent one night together, that was enough to conceive Haruto.
Kiryu, naturally is furious, but there's no time for that. Masuzoe shows up and explains what his true motivation was and how the Saio is now after him. More yakuza goons arrive on the scene to kidnap Haruto. The boys play catch the baby with Haruto to get him safely away from them. After dealing with a few waves of them, Joon-gi Han arrives as another boss battle.
After he's dealt with, Kiryu heads back to the Hirose office. Haruto has been snatched from Yuta. Nagumo wants to hit Yuta for not taking responsibility for his son. Kiryu steps in and states that the only one allowed to hit Yuta is him.
Kiryu delivers a punch so hard, it sends Yuta flying out of the office, shattering the glass doors. Kiryu explains why he's upset. Not because he got Haruka pregnant, but that Yuta is giving up on Haruto. He gives him an ultimatum that if Yuta doesn't stand up for his son, Kiryu never wants to see him again. Kiryu and the boys head to the dock to board a boat to take them to Haruto.
Yuta runs after them, out of breath, with tears streaming down his face. He begs them to take him with them.
In one of the most beautiful and poignant scenes in the game, Kiryu displays unwavering forgiveness for Yuta as he cannot say no to the father of Haruka's son.
