creepy koala | Y Button Challenge (Pitfall: The Lost Expedition) @creepykoala7255 | Uploaded November 2022 | Updated October 2024, 8 minutes ago.
The goal of the Y Button Challenge is to beat the game without pressing the Y Button once. The Y Button is normally used for Crouching, Rolling, Breakdance and Diving into Water.
In this run I complete the game with a grand total of 0 Y Presses.
0:00 Getting Sling
9:26 Getting Gas Mask
18:39 Getting Torch
23:36 Getting TNT
32:03 Getting Pickaxes
42:15 St. Claire's Camp
54:06 Pusca
Most Notable Moments:
- Natives without Sweep Kick (4:52)
- Early Mysterious Temple (10:40)
- Flooded Cave without Gas Mask (13:13)
- Renegades without Shield (17:06)
- Early Geyser (27:03)
- Spinjas without Pickaxes or Breakdance (28:51)
- Jungle Trail without Rolling (47:39)
- St. Claire's Camp (50:42)
This video is meant as a demonstration / showcase, so it wouldn't make sense to keep 20 minutes of me failing Early Geyser in the video for example. Therefore this run is segmented, with all cuts being at the very start of any given level.
This was done on the PC version of the game, using a Keyboard.
