How to get as high as possible in Chameleon Temple, and how to get in both types of water.
Unfortunately I couldn't get any higher than this because the roots at 2:26 don't have collision.
Most of this route isn't very hard to replicate with the exception being the jump at 1:16, that one is pretty tricky.
I make use of Save States here and there, as can be seen on the top left of the screen when it happens.
This was done on an Emulation of the GameCube version of the game, using a Keyboard.

The B Button is the one used for attacking, so without it our only option of dealing damage to the boss is Breakdance. Or to be more precise: The initial bursts of Breakdance, as we cant mash B to extend it.
