XTAR sent these AA batteries in for us to look at. These have a Lithium cell and use a DC Converter board to output a constant 1.5VDC. at around the 3.2V of the lithium cell the output reduces to 1.1V to allow some devices with low battery monitor to indicate. They are rated at 4150mWh. These will have to be charged with a dedicated charger for these since the charge cycle is not the same as a typical lithium cell due to going through the board to charge properly. Overall I am very impressed with these rechargeable batteries and they are super handy. The fact that the leak issue of Alkaline batteries is eliminated is awesome. I really like that the shelf life is great and they can be recharged for many uses and years to come. We also take time to capacity test and look inside.
