In this XERO HFS Shoes Review, I go over the pros and cons of these shoes after owning and wearing them for over 3 years. I share my newest pair of XERO HFS running shoes and tell you how they feel when I try them on for the first time.
The bottom line is that I'm a big fan of XERO shoes. I've worn them almost exclusively for many years, and the HFS, or Highly Flexible Sole, is one of my favorite shoes from XERO.
XERO shoes do take some getting used to if you're not already accustomed to barefoot-style shoes.
The biggest cons of the HFS shoes are that they have a low barrier to water, they are a little slippery on some rocks when hiking, and they won't make you taller with their 5.5 mm sole.
I like that the XERO HFS shoes are one of the lightest shoes I've worn, and they feel very comfortable and unrestrictive to the feet. In addition, mine have lasted for a very long time.
