Xbox has announced major layoffs, but the biggest story might be what came with them.

I also think Xbox is still feeling the effects of the Xbox One era. The 2013 reveal changed the trajectory of the brand, and Microsoft has been trying to regain that lost momentum ever since.
Looking ahead, I believe the next Xbox should include a disc drive by default. In an industry moving toward digital, giving players more choice could be one of Microsoft’s biggest opportunities.
