The first trailer for Resident Evil is finally here—and honestly… it looks awesome.
Directed by Zach Cregger, the filmmaker behind Barbarian and Weapons, this new Resident Evil movie looks darker, scarier, and way more focused on survival horror than previous adaptations. The trailer introduces a new original story set alongside the events of Raccoon City, with a much grittier horror vibe than earlier Resident Evil films. The movie is scheduled to hit theaters September 18, 2026.
