- This is a *complete* playthrough. Im only using a password to start the game off with more money (and to also listen to that sweet tune). This makes the video half shorter and more interesting to watch.
- This game isnt part of a series despite the number 5 being in the title. It just refers to the size of your group. While this number doesnt show up anywhere in the actual game, its printed all over on game package materials.
- The game title Jagur is Engrish and should actually be Jaguar, as indicated by the game logo on package materials (theres a silhouette of the said animal).
- The JAGUR group consists of 5 characters: Jef Walker, Anne Evence, Guadic Jr., Ukon Sanada, and Roger Bloom.
- The initials of Jef, Anne, Guadic, Ukon, and Roger forms the word JAGUR.
- The character name Guadic is likely a reference to Compiles earlier MSX game called Guardic.
- If you look at the end credits, you will see that Compile developed this game (meaning that Hudson Soft was the publisher).")

- Akanbe Dragon was re-released on MSX-FAN magazine, issue May 1992 (installer blank floppy disk required)
- Characters dont actually have proper names in the game, but rather the names shown are for their favorite terrain type (Heichi/Plains, Mori/Woods, Yama/Mountains, Mizu/Water, and Sora/Sky) and movement pattern (King, Queen, Roke/Rook, Knight, Bishop, Porn/Pawn).
- Heichi/Plain type characters get a temporary +1 STR boost when fighting in the Mountains. They hate Water and dislike Forests.
- Mori/Forest type characters get temporary +1 SPD, +1 JMP, +1 STR boosts when fighting in the Forests. They hate Water and dislike Plains.
- Yama/Mountain type characters get temporary +1 SPD, +1 JMP, +1 STR boosts when fighting in the Mountains. They hate Water and dislike Plains.
- Mizu/Water type characters get temporary +4 SPD, +4 JMP, +1 STR boosts when fighting in the Water. They hate Forests and dislike Plains and Mountains.
- Sora/Sky type characters get temporary +1 SPD, +1 JMP, +1 STR boosts when fighting in the Plains. They dislike Water.
- Theres four types of pickups in the game, only usable on the map screen: First Aid Kit (restores health to full), Speed Shoes (increases SPD by 1 for one battle), Jump Rocket (increases JMP by 1 for one battle), Power Punch (increases STR by 1 for one battle)
- Every stage has 2x First Aid Kit, 2x Speed Shoes, 2x Jump Rocket, and 2x Power Punch randomly scattered around the map. You get them automatically when you manage to land on a cell that contains a pickup. This is one of the two luck-based elements of the game.
- At the end of each stage, every living character gets a random permanent stat increase (dead characters are only getting resurrected). This is another luck-based element of the game, as some stat increases are better (MAX HP, STR, WEAPON) than others (SPD, JMP).

While avoiding being bitten by the snake and mosquito, move the rabbit to change the red hearts into fruits. Guide the turtle using the rabbits telepathic powers. When the turtle eats a fruit, the name of the fruit at the top of the screen is displayed a letter at a time, and when the word is complete, the exit opens. Guide the turtle through the exit.
