I’ve had my eye on Wuchang: Fallen Feathers for a while now. If you’re a fan of this channel, you know that I have a massive soft spot for Souls-like games, so playing one that is a dark, supernatural reimagining of late Ming Dynasty China, was very exciting for me!
Now, Wuchang is the first major title by Chinese indie development studio Leenzee, and if you ask me, the future really is looking bright for Chinese game development studios.
If you’re after a modern Dark Souls like, with a few unique mechanics to keep things fresh, then Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is definitely worth checking out.

Final Fantasy V! Also Known as the FF that gets no love! And why
is that? Probably because it wasn’t released in the US until 1999. This is a shame, because FFV is awesome and if you ask me, horribly underrated.
While these remastered additions are great, it’s FF5s Job system that is still the life of the party, even 30 years later. This, and the fact that the whole FF5 experience is a lot of fun, makes this title a must play JRPG, if you’re into the classics.

Saga Frontier 2 is another one of those PS1 JRPGs that I never got to play back in the day. I had always heard it was an interesting game, but you know how it is; there were other games to play at the time, and Saga Frontier 1 didn’t exactly blow me away.
To tell you the truth, I don’t think I ever would have gotten around to playing it if it wasn’t for the recent remaster on modern consoles, which instantly dropped, the moment it was announced during a Nintendo Direct.
If you’ve ever been tempted to try out this classic, or if you want to play something a little unconventional, then the Saga Frontier 2 remaster is worth checking out.

Final Fantasy 7 Crisis Core has always been one of my favorite games on the PSP, and it is an absolute crime that for all of these years, this ancient handheld console has been the only way to experience Final Fantasy 7s, must play prequel. I know there are some people out there who didn’t get a chance to experience this one back in the day, so if you’re one of those people, and a fan of Final Fantasy 7, playing Reunion should be a no brainer. This remaster irons out a lot of kinks from the original, and is the best way to play the game.

Over the years, I’ve heard some great things about Honkai Impact 3rd, Genshin Impact, and most recently Honkai Star Rail. These games were all made by Chinese development company Mihoyo, also known as Hoyoverse.
I recently had a few weeks without a new RPG to play, so thought it was time to bite the bullet, and give the latest title, Honkai: Star Rail a go.
Now, where Genshin Impact is a multiplayer, open world, action combat RPG, Honkai: Star Rail changes things up with single player, turn based combat, and smaller locations to explore.
While the game was only released last year, and has only had several major updates, there is still a LOT of content available, easily providing well over 30 hours of play time. And the best part is, the game is free to play. I didn’t spend and was still able to experience everything that I wanted and needed to.
I think that many of you out there will get a lot out of Honkai: Star Rail, and hopefully, this review will let you know if it’s worth your time.
