Hi FF7 fans! To celebrate the release of Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth, I’ve completely remade the entire Know the Facts series, and put them together into one meaty video.
There are some seriously unbelievable facts regarding the original Final Fantasy 7 here, and I guarantee that you will not know them all!
This is Final Fantasy VII - ALL THE FACTS! Where we look at all of the facts, secrets, Easter eggs, references and Easter Eggs, that you may not know about this classic.
And yes, there will be spoilers from the original 1997 release, so if SOMEHOW you don’t know about a certain thing that happens…. Maybe, don’t watch this video.

IKINAGAMES certainly aren’t the biggest household name, only having released a few other titles of varying genres, since the studio was established in 2011.
With their latest title, Starbites, the team specifically wanted to evoke the golden age of Japanese console games, a period known for experimentation, diverse settings, and rich world building.
And this is exactly what you’re getting from Starbites, as it looks, feels and plays like a modern JRPG but from the PS2 era.
What this means is that we have a solid, yet simple JRPG experience, with some great ideas, but never tries to reinvent the wheel.
I know that that there are some people out there who love this kind of the experience, and if that’s you, then starbites is definitely worth a look.

13 Sentinels, Aegis rim, is the latest game developed my Vanillaware. While this development studio isn’t as big, or as well-known as many others out there, they have a pretty good track record, such as with the critically acclaimed Odin Sphere and Dragon’s Crown. And this is probably the first thing that blew me away about 13 Sentinels; that is, the unique, absolutely stunning visuals that are common with these other Vanillaware titles.
But, the thing that sold it to me was the nomination for ‘Best Narrative’ at the Game Awards, and the fact that it’s of the Sci-Fi genre. To put it simply, 13 Sentinels is absolutely, without a doubt, worthy of that nomination. The story is not only brilliant, but the way in which it’s told is so unique and perfect, that I’m a little surprised it didn’t take out the top prize for the category.
If you’re into deep, complex stories, with some fun, strategic combat and RPG mechanics, then add 13 Sentinels to your must play list.

Gensō Suikoden: Woven Web of the Centuries or Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki, The final Suikoden Game. Released in 2012 for the PSP, Woven Web of the Centuries is a spinoff title to our beloved Suikoden series. This means that it is completely separate to the world, characters and the lore of the mainline Suikoden games. This is a crying shame since it’s the previously established world, characters and the lore is my favorite thing about the series. This game isnt Suikoden VI 6 but its still worth playing!
Now, the Woven Web may have been released over 10 years ago, but it was a Japanese exclusive that never left the country. In fact, it still hasn’t. It was only in 2021 that a dedicated group of fans, known as Twisted Phoenix, translated the entire game for us to enjoy. A massive shout out goes to them, for all their hard work, and the great job they did in making this game, finally playable.
So, is the final Genso Suikoden game, Woven Web of the Centuries, worth playing, despite it only being a spinoff? Let’s find out!

The JRPG genre has been evolving for around 40 years now. It has seen its share of ups and downs, but right now, its arguably in the best place that it has ever been. Since the early 80s, we’ve seen the releases of 1000s of JRPGs, or JRPG style titles, from hundreds of different developers, but it goes without saying that not all of them are created equally.
This series is going to look at the very best JRPGs ever made, or at least, my favorite. This is my personal top 100 JRPGs of all time!
