In celebration of ‘World Cities Day’ 2024 on 31st October, we explore how different types of buildings across UK cities make an impact on the communities that live there – from vital healthcare facilities, repurposed industrial sites now magnets for locals and tourism, to well-loved venues, saved and renewed for future generations.

In this short video we look at just a small selection of various projects which Buro Happold has worked on that are integral to the fabric and personality of their city.
