Many existing buildings in the UK were constructed decades, or even centuries ago - long before digital systems were a consideration.
This means that many of them are not always well equipped to deal with modern cybersecurity challenges, particularly when it comes to heritage or listed buildings that have legacy systems (such as older security controls), which typically lack built-in cybersecurity features.
