Doors can hide a mess and keep it out of sight, out of mind. But in a shop, that temptation to squirrel away more things then you might reasonably need to store in the cabinets, is necessary because it can often get dirty and dusty while you work on projects. The batteries and electronics that keep the solar arrays in working order are a great example of things that I don't want to get filthed up every time I sweep the floor. So, I slapped these doors together like the professional amateur I am. They keep the dirt out of the lower compartments, hide the things I knew I had and help me forget where they were. Now, where the heck did I put that charger?...

Seriously, though; Try not to clutter up those places hidden behind closed doors. And by all means, don't view my attempts at carpentry as a 'how-to' demonstration!

Those kayak accessories are pretty neat though, and can be used for all kinds of cool stuff besides their designed functions. I'll give a bunch of examples in an upcoming video.
