From a very early age I've always had a problem with perfection. Problem is, I often dream up and try to achieve that unicorn and as a consequence, I wind up constantly disappointed. Add to that my propensity to overthink things and you get what you see in this episode. While I am pondering some elaborate idea that might be all well and good, I overlook some simple measurement that I should've seen even as a novice tinkerer. Then I am crestfallen, wondering how on Earth I could ever hope to do anything even to a fraction of a level of my initial aspirations. Most normal people if found in such a position would have the wit to withdraw from such projects. Not me though. Another thing I have a problem with you see is persistence. I have buggered my way down some enormously deep and fruitless rabbit holes in my day. But I have also, once or twice, made some things that turn out pretty dern nice thanks to my stubborn trait of simply not giving up. Some of these lofty goals I tackle would be child's play to an expert. But then again, there are some things I attempt that no expert in their right mind would ever begin to attempt. Maybe that's what makes me special? Maybe I occasionally make some very neat things because I'm not afraid to, once in a while, be stupid.
