A place for everything. And everything in it's place. That makes it so you can find stuff when you need it. As is, the new shop is a disaster. That is as expected I guess since the new space is still getting put together. But this chaos will not do for very long before my eyes start to twitch. So, I put up some shelves and hung some stuff up. I did this knowing that eventually it would all have to come down again. Quite soon possibly. But this effort would do two things. One, it got stuff immediately off the floor. And two, it gave me a visual idea of what I might build for a more permanent basis. It would tell me if having tools in a certain spot was convenient or if they were taking up valuable real estate. I can tell you this, I certainly decided, thanks to this step, that some stuff had gotten hung in prominent places and never got used. And other more important stuff I found I was constantly digging out from a corner or a low shelf. So, what you see in this video does not last long. Perhaps a few short days later, I was taking everything down again. But it told me what I needed to know. What was going to go where.
