"Works are what you generate. Fruit is what grows. Works come from effort. Fruit comes from connection. Works can be managed for a while. Fruit always reveals the true source of your life. Paul is not saying stop doing bad things and start doing good things. He's saying pay attention to the source of your life, because that source determines what you will ultimately harvest. And all of us are harvesting something."
